i was at the Design Thinkers 2008 conference today at MTCC.

highlights:

• maira kalman signed my recently purchased Uncertainty book
• we got maira kalman to say a plug for Magik Coffee (woot!)
  
• rick poynor was funny
• but maira was funnier, i think
• only thing missing in the mix was erik spiekermann

i'll most probably do a design thinkers blog sometime soon.

 

 

and...on other news. i just realized the most exciting news. i am gonna be working with Paul Sych! Paul Sych!!! weee, yea i don't really know him either but i've heard so much about him so i'm somewhat excited. apparently, when it comes to editorial design here in canada, he's the man. lol. and i'm gonna be working alongside him. isn't that awesome? lol i really hope i'm up to par. but i get the feeling that i won't be. but we'll see. lol.
